Insurance Europe’s 16th International Conference will take place in Brussels on 28 May 2026, bringing together insurance leaders, policymakers, regulators, young people and civil society from across the globe. 

High-level speakers will address the strategic challenges shaping insurance and risk worldwide, including geopolitical volatility, climate risk, retirement security, regulatory divergence and the impact of new technologies, with a clear focus on practical responses. 

The full-day programme includes panel discussions, a fireside chat, a featured address and the NextGen Spotlight youth competition, where the winners will be announced. Dedicated networking moments throughout the day will create space for exchange and connection across sectors.

Programme

Insurance Europe’s International Conference brings together senior leaders to tackle how risk is evolving in practice, from global instability and regulatory influence to retirement solutions and the use of AI. The programme features keynotes, a CEO fireside chat, three focused sessions and the NextGen Spotlight, alongside dedicated time for exchange and networking.

Kicking off at 09:00 with opening remarks and a keynote address, the day moves into a CEO fireside chat and sessions on global risk, Europe’s role on the international stage, retirement and AI in practice, with lunch and networking breaks built in, and closing with NextGen Spotlight and networking drinks.
